I'm up to my ears in technology now I'm at work keeping company to the 400+ servers (not count virtual ones) = ). Just wanted to say thanks for the help! I grossed $1800 last week... a far cry from the $250-$300 I was used to. You guys are all awesome! I am going to have to make the trip up there and visit soon. I hope all is well with you. How did your car turn out that you were putting a PC in? I'd love to see some pictures if you have time! Things are still awesome here. One of these days I'll have some time to study and take the next exam...but I'm learning just as much on the job so I'm not in too much of a hurry...though I should probably stop slacking and get my next raise by passing that exam. Other than that, nothing too exciting except waiting to see how bad the confikker virus is going to hit our customers tomorrow...I have a feeling it's more hype that danger...but time will tell. For the past nine years I have stayed home caring for my young children while my husband works, rarely taking a day off ever in fear of not being able to then support our family. It was because they truly care about what they do and say to their students there on the Grand Rapids campus. I was going through some rough times when I graduated from class, but I kept my chin up and looked forward. Now I just was offered a job at my company Stryker, Inc. I am now the head of the Help Desk Department! EVERY single student in my class graduated!!! We were a great success thanks to my instructors and academic advisors. I would like come in and speak to the classes and even at the graduation! I've been working for about a month now for CPR, it's an IT company that does almost literally everything under the sun. They supply entire on site IT departments for places like the City of Grand Rapids, Amway, Steelcase and a handful of others. I work on the City of Grand Rapids team as a "Customer Support Engineer", it's basically the position you and Chris describes as being pretty common in the area, a little bit of everything. It's a little help desk, a little PC Technician, printer tech, you know the deal, it's pretty cool though, I like it a lot, and it pays a lot higher than I anticipated a first job paying, I'm very happy with that. So anyway, hope you're doing good, thanks for all your help as an instructor, you did a great job and no doubt I wouldn't have landed this without your help. Take care and stay in touch.J. Every class session was informative, inspiring, and entertaining, despite his consistently, over-burdened schedule. He didn't just teach us what was in the text book, he taught us what we needed to know to do our jobs, and some things that one could only learn through trial and error. He required each of us to do our best, and always called me out when I wasn't giving it 100 percent. Andrew made himself available to us before class, after class, and on our days off with extra lab assignments or just answers to our questions. He gave back to us every bit that we were willing to put in.
