PC ProSchools Grads Don't Only Start Out Making $11-$12/hour

There a couple blogs out there about PC ProSchools grads only making $11-$12/hour. The reality is that some of our graduates do start out their IT careers making these wages. They recognize the great opportunity to get into a company and gain the valuable working experience and soon see a great increase in pay. We also have graduates that start out making twice that wage and even some beyond that.

PC Pro recognizes that there are some opportunities at local companies that pay less than others. We believe that these jobs are amazing spring boards into in the IT industry and often allow our students to build their confidence and gain the experience they need to make strong salaries in a short period of time.  We also have graduates that start out making twice that wage and even some beyond that.  Those students don’t have time to post on blogs and share their experience. They are too busy enjoying their new careers and new lives.  Recently a Carroll University grad accepted a job making $11/hr. He made an approximate $80,000 investment over 4 years in his education. Should this be considered a rip-off? Should individuals considering pursuing higher education stay far away from this school because of this instance? Of course not. John Danovich is a great example of a PC Pro student that started out making $11/hour for a company that he knew had a great IT department. He was still attending classes here and after one month working at his company and after he had his first certification he was promoted to make $45,000 in their IT Department.
